Hi,
Suppose that I'm reading a datasheet about a connector of some sort. Frequently said documents will include a pin out. Here is a fictitious example:
pin 1 = 5V
pin 2 = ground
pin 3 = data
pin 4 = ground
Does anyone know of a way that a totally blind person can work out which pin is meant to be pin 1? I'm assuming that sighted people don't have this problem as most documents like this include pictures.
Since we're dealing with power in the above example simply guessing where pin 1 is may prove very ahhem problematic. Does anyone have a better way?
Many thanks.
